Based in Herefordshire, Jayne graduated with a first class honours degree from specialist art college, Hereford college of Arts.

Although not necessarily a landscape photographer, response to environment informs Jaynes highly personal photographic practice.

Questioning perceived understandings of landscape, objects and collections, as both physical reality and their visual representation, is integral to Jaynes practice.

Creative response, following stories, creating stories, linking connections, following lines of research, attention to the small things; these are the currents Jayne describes as running through her artistic practice.

''The whole evolution of my practice has been one of 'disappearing', exploring and creating other worlds in which to rest and reinterpret the world around me''
